But Dave and Polly Green found an even quicker way to get the room they wanted – they packed their bags and moved across town to their dream house. Just because the house is new, doesn’t mean they didn’t have some work to do. They called on husband and wife design team Abby and Ron Smith to help them out.

Kitchen design focuses on the Big Island. It is important to seat the entire family. To do this they came with a two piece design that can accommodate up to eight people. The island also serves as a buffet table at parties. Homeowners can fill both sides with food, and customers can circle around it.

On one side of the kitchen is equipped with a computer. It is an excellent site, where the family can learn to use your computer, do homework, or print recipes.

Filled the room with flat-resistant materials that can handle anything. They chose black granite, Italian furniture in laminated beech and glass-ceramic backsplash.

A major challenge for the owners was to find a way to combine all the different types of materials in the kitchen. To do this they have added many of their favorite color – green. The green glass backsplash tiles and a pair of cabinets green tie it all together perfectly. Have a little closet, there is a different color to break the long, huge space.
